Installing LR3 Xenon's into an LR4 with halogens?
The Evoque is 2013. They may have put LED’s in the 2015 refresh. Generally, LED’s have good color and are extreme bright, but don’t have great control over the light, or a sharp cut off. I would rather have a good set of HID’s at this point over LED’s. -

I just completed a full HID retrofit on my ‘12 LR4 Halogen headlights. Involved disassembling the headlights, removing the Valeo H7 Halogen Projector, & installing HID Projectors & Ballasts. Quite a project, but well worth the outcome. -

LR4 5.0 Chain Guides actual problem?
Yes, I got it back last week. It’s been really bad weather (rain, snow & lots of wind), so I haven’t been able to get an ‘after’ video yet. Unless this site is using the wrong image, that looks nothing like the timing chain, tensioners, & guides from the 5.0. Based on the water pump gasket pictured, it looks more like the 4.4 LR3 Timing Chain. -

I received the Bosch injectors from AB today, and took them to my mechanic. I compared them closely to the factory original injectors pulled out of my LR4. I am 99.99% certain the Factory injectors are either manufactured by Bosch (or Bosch’s manufacture makes the Factory injectors as well)... -

My rover won’t start...
What is the process for removing it? Mine is worn out as well. I’m thinking about replacing mine with an Evoque button (if it fits). My wife has an Evoque, and I much prefer her start button over my LR4. It is concaved instead of convexed and has a much nicer feal... -

I’ve read that the heavy duty fuel injector cleaners can also be harsh on the o2 sensors as well. Is this the case with this BG 44k? I’m going to start changing my oil every 7,500 (I just don’t trust 15k oil, and have read it could contribute to these timing chain issues), so I may start... -
