Hill descent control
What is the status of your pads and rotors? If they’re getting close to the end of their life, the HDC gets groanier (that’s totally a word, right?) and groanier. Replace them, and it works quieter (normal, light groans). I have no idea the reason for this, but maybe the worn/thinner pads just...- blainerides

To the OP, I agree with 200KP38. At a minimum, I would definitely ask for service records and then get back to us on what has been done. Just give us a quick rundown, if you're still in the market for that thing. Were diff and tranny oil changes done, in the last 80k (jesus, at bare minimum)...- blainerides

Recommendations for non dealer Land Rover service in Seattle?
First of all, if it's not under warranty, stop going to the dealer. That is the last place you should go. I'll save rants and horror stories about LR Seattle (Lynnwood) for another time, but they are a frickin rip-off. Just do not go there. This looks like a good place to jump in and ask about LR4 caliper sizes with regards to 18" wheels. I'm researching LR4s for future purchase consideration (my wife and I have a 2006 FFRR that we love, but like the LR4s, too).
