I have those on my compomotives and find them quieter and more fuel efficient than my previous 2 sets of KO2s. Not doing so much off roading so I figured not. No complaints yet.
Can you write down the how to steps for this?... I have a bit of a rough idle situation starting and would like to try this before taking it in for service.
2 blowouts separate occasions. Our vehicle has an RTT plus awning and when it’s packed up with gear inside it’s as heavy as any other LR4 in this group. One blowout on trail which wasn’t at all difficult but it had its share of not so dull rock surfaces :)
The picture I posted of the BFG was...
Anyone here have WetOkole seat covers for their LR4?...
My landrover waterproof covers are ripped up and need replacing and hoping someone here actually has them. If so, how are they holding up?
The only issues I’ve ever had was getting balanced properly by various shops but that’s it. My blowouts were just my driving habits and conditions. I’ve always enjoyed them and think highly of them, just wanted to try something new and easier on the wallet.
Just bought a new set of 265/65/18 ToyoAT3s for the LR4 after we had our second blowout with KO2s. Not doing as much off-roading these days so I decided to give these a try. I will say after 4 days of driving, streets and freeways at various speeds feel smoother than with the KO2s which makes...

I had the same issue with my Prospeed ladder when it was installed 3yrs ago and bought 2 new struts at the same time. No issues with added weight of the ladder.
Mahalo for the info! I’ve always thought that my driver side view of the road at night was dimmer than the passenger side. Turned it a few times and now I can “see” better at night with the beam adjusted.
This am I saw “low coolant” warning. Got her home and she was definitely leaking somewhere. Replaced cross over pipe and sure enough it had a crack. Put everything back together after checking my work.
Wife turned her on and I could see it spewing coolant from where in the vicinity of the water...
after the recommended diy fixes and the engine running fine with no CEL anymore or error codes, i now have low coolant warning and noticed that the engine is indeed leaking something. question for everyone, could i have messed up a coolant hose while doing the throttle body and MAP sensor? my...
Scott, once again big mahalo for your help! ill get to this today and post my experience and results.
Went to the LR dealer and bought the sensor since i figured i do both jobs at the same time just incase. fairly straight forward. i didnt disconnect the 2 hoses going to the throttle body as i...
Mahalo Scott,
Saw the video. Just wanted to make sure that I can touch the “flaps” and clean everything well and not have to bring to dealership.
How do I go about with the GAP tool recalibration?...
Mahalo for the reply! I have a GAP tool so ill figure that part after. Exactly how to i go about cleaning the throttle body?... never done one before and everything I've read so far says not to touch the "flaps". Again, apologies ahead of time for the amateur questions.
I'm picking up a new MAP...
could someone explain what i need to clean my throttle body besides cleaner and a toothbrush?... i dont mind doing this DIY process, just want to know exactly what to do so i dont F it up.
if i could, i would definintely have a snorkel on my 12' LR4. im not concerned with water crossings as i would want it for all the desert dust here in AZ.
