LR4 Steering Sounds
Did you check videos at start and compare? I checked even got things replaced on the high side... Sound / vibration is transmitted up the column.. makes it sound like it's right at the wheel... Since that LR4 I've had 2-3 other vehicles with similar sounds - those were also tied to steering... -

Does Air suspension need to be in Offroad mode for Hoisting jack?
Finally had a few minutes while doing some tire changes recently.. Only Took 10+ Years to get a video of it.... Parked - No brake Set and in Normal Height, Vehicle ShutOff yes have also seen it work in Offroad height as well but didn't test. Placed the Jack directly Under the A-Arm Joint... -

That is due to the lower bushings - replace those and keep a decent balance and you don't get really wicked Cupping like I've got... but just throw some mud / snow / sand / rocks under them and all is good! LTZ sidewall cuts though - hrmm... maybe those were Nittos.... very similar tire but... -

Getting the spare tyre out with a quick release tow hitch. broken key.

LED Headlight bulbs - installation
I haven't found a led that is able to fit past the inner ring on the mount plate... Thought... Oh I'll just drill it open more.... Nope don't try that... Replacement housing later ordered hid kit - with so many extra boxes - that I never re- attempted... 12 LR4 H7 and H11.. only care about... -

I only recently heard about alternators being a bit of a higher issue than normal. Water Pump is a known as well as a plastic pipe near it, is common to crack - good to know about the darn oil O rings though... just hitting ~ 105 on our LR4 Alternator issue I'm told is due to its location... -

Towing for the first time, a U-Haul trailer.
drawbar - don't have to buy theirs - basically its reversed because the LR3/4/RRS puts the hitch too low for most trailers - has to be lifted... I wouldn't mess with the tow settings on the screen for a rental trailer - if you owned the trailer then you can setup - but really isn't magic... -

Fluid isn't the issue Steering Gear is the issue not being lubricated properly. Not sure if bad ring or what That However when fixed / worked on means entire ps system has to be flushed and refilled. So yes fluids are covered when mechanical parts fail that use them... Just had water pump... -

that made me laugh too.. comparing the Platinum model to probably Base D5 probably - but it was good to see them side by side. Still think the interior / engine / suspension - pretty much everything else is nicer in Rover.. Except media / entertainment - LR seems to lag pretty behind the... -

Comparison - on Disco versions I've always thought the newer body styles even on the RRs have a pretty close relationship to the Fords there are differences - but the style really similar compared to the previous generations. -- Interior / Engine / Drivetrain - All massively different.. from... -
