    compressor service

My original lasted a little more than 180K Miles and 13 Years. Leaks in the system finally did it in and I replaced with the same Hitachi P/N, didn't want to try and change to AMK. I did have to replace two valve bodies that were leaking, I first tried the repair kits, the O rings started...

New Recall Alert : Fuel System

I got my recall letter attached to the oil change bill when I went it for the oil change for my 2016 LR4. The letter just said to wait for the dealer to set a time, as they are short on parts. I was OK with the wait, but this morning I got a message from my insurance agent saying, your car has a...

    Transmission confusion

Based on experience, I would say get the transmission fluid and filter change done at a good Indi shop, my truck is at 230K miles now, and I had the service done at 176K miles and that was the first time the transmission was opened. And everything looked fine, I had it done for my piece mind...

There she blows, (maybe coolant crossover)

Yes!, and with a lot of bends and glued/plastic welded joints, mine had leaked from a joint, I got the part back from the Indi shop but I haven't had a closer look at it yet. The part is only about 90$ on the web at Roverparts, but when you are stranded, you can't be arguing about prices with...

My dash lit up like a christmas tree after driving in snow.

These cars very very sensitive to battery voltage, I am glad you were able to get it fixed with the new battery. My LR3 had intermittent warnings for Suspension Height, Transmission Fault, Air pump failure and Parking break fault. This was going on for about 6 months, the battery was 4 years...

There she blows, (maybe coolant crossover)

My 2016 LR3 decided to have coolant leak while we were on Thanksgiving break 2020, just after a 890 mile drive to Durango, CO. After I parked, noticed coolant leaking out of the front drip pan, but it was slow enough not to loose too much. Because of the nature of the issue, I decided to have...

    LR4 audio from phone

Have you tried using the Bluetooth connection, my LR4 connects to the phone (Android) via BT and I can play music through the BT connection by choosing the phone through the mode function on the head unit. Sounds pretty good too.

Check to be sure you can actually use your spare tire

Out of curiosity, does anyone have a LR4 with a full size spare option ? I remember reading somewhere that was a factory option. I was thinking of switching out the doughnut for a full size, but that might not work if there is no space under the car.

    Reset eco start/stop

Thanks for the detailed steps, I am one of those who do not like the feature, but this will save me a trip to the dealer if the fault pops up.

LR4s out there holding their value maybe more than just quite well

@Jeeptour Jodi - Good Luck with your search, I just bought a 2016 LR4 with 48K miles, I was looking to get one with low gear as well, but there aren't many of those, and without that option, I still ended up paying above 40K. When started looking in February this year, they were not that bad...

    ECO Throttle Battery - 2016 LR4

I had the ECO battery replaced on my 2016 LR4 as well, I guess the life span is about 4 years for these. Is there a way to disable the ECO start/stop function permanently ? I am not a big fan of the engine shutting down at color lights.

    Tpms

I replaced all four on mine a last year, one broke while trying to put air in the tire, that got replaced and I saw that they were original to the vehicle, these units are not designed to work for ever, they do have internal battery that dies eventually, so I decided to get get all 4 replaced...

    LR3 with 134,000...long trip?

You should be fine with the mileage you have, at least based my experience. My LR3 is passing 190K miles and we take it on long trips (1K+ miles) frequently. I would recommend you check your battery, and maybe out it on a charger before you start, mine had an issue where it completely died on me...

    Hydraulic Jack Suggestions

If you are looking for something lighter, I use the Aluminum ones from HF, the 3 Ton one weighs about 55 lbs, easier to move around. Here is the one I have : https://www.harborfreight.com/automotive-motorcycle/floor-jacks/3-ton-aluminum-racing-service-jack-with-rapidpump-62530.html
