Faded hood cowling redone!
Oh wow - this thread took off - I'll post up some pics shortly - looks great installed. Don't even notice the texture - looks practically stock. I got the wipers off relatively easy - no hammer needed. Just move them back and forth slightly while lifting/pulling. Mine at least popped right...- Taylorguy74

Very simple process - used part cost me $60 bucks via ebay and less than $20 for the primer/adhesive and bed spray from Napa. Faded hood cowling redone!
Was getting tired of trying the back to black scrubs and lotions for the front cowling - ordered a used part online, cleaned it well, degreased it, and with a couple coats of adhesion primer and some truck bed liner spray, I have myself a very well dressed like-new cowling! Can't wait to get it...- Taylorguy74

Thanks! The interior is awesome - the contrast stitching really stands out too. I'm very happy with my choice. The BMW dealer that had it fully detailed it too - like I stepped into a brand-renewed 4 year old Rover. I'm trying to get the dealer service record on it - is it as easy as calling...- Taylorguy74
