Also, if you're going through a windscreen a year on average (like I am), lower your insurance deductible. Mine is now $100 and only increased my premium by $4 a month. Totally worth it. These things are rock magnets! -

Also, it is a LOT easier to get the bottom windshield brackets out by muscling them out rather than removing the cowl. They likely did this and bent it. It should be flush with your windscreen with no gap. Had this and the above issues with the side trim on mine. Glass shop ended up replacing... -
