Hi Mike. Thanks. I put a new fuel pump motor in about 18 months ago. I reset the alarm and the inertia switch then cleaned the fuse connection under the hood then the plug connection at the pump. It fired up with one turn of the key. Funny, I'll never know which of these was the... -

Planning on replacing my catalytic converters this weekend on my 97 Disco SE 7, 138k miles. Can I cut the old cats out with a reciprocating saw or do I need to torch them off? Also, do I have to secure the new cats with welds or can I clamp them in place? Thanks for any advice you can... -

AC blower fan quits on hot day
I found that the blower when put on "high" (4th position) will cut out periodically when running the AC on a very hot and humid day. When it happens I lower the fan speed and it works at the lower fan speed. You can then turn the fan back up after a while. -

I went back and looked at the thread. Joey said he bet the elbow above the left rear tire is leaking. If that is true, I can probably replace that. -

I was thinking of disconnecting the rear air lines and putting a plug or end cap in them. That's what I thought Joey meant but I'm guessing. -

I have to put R134 in weekly. Joey bet it was leaking through the rear air conditioning unit and said if I disconnected it it would likely solve the leak. Thanks for your input -

Major R134 leakage on my 97 SE7, 136000 miles. Joey says it is probably the connection to the rear air that is the culprit. My question is what should I do to seal off the rear air so that the front will operate without having to add R134 every week? Thanks! -
