I bought the rover about 6k miles ago when it had 125k miles. At the time I put new air and fuel filter, new stepper motor, and a few other small things. Can't remember if I put new spark plugs... The spark plug wires looked very new.

For some reason when I turn the rover on it is very rough. Then when I get it revved up, I have zero issues. Seems like it turns over ok. Any ideas what could be causing this? I drive a 1995 Range Rover Classic. Thanks!

Rovers are notorious for leaking oil and powersteering fluid. It is the norm. Check where the hoses attach to the powersteering box and try to determine if it is just a hose leak. Might have to change the whole powersteering box, which is doable and not terribly expensive.
You can do it yourself. I did one once and I think I got the driveshaft rebuilt by a local guy. It was not terribly expensive, but it was a little Saturday job.
welcome to the forums! the problem you are talking about is going to cost a fortune to fix. you can't do it yourself either, so you will have to go the dealer. Just kidding. I don't really have any experience with the fans you are mentioning, but someone here should have an answer soon.
