Hood Latch Sensor
I too had the same problem with my alarm going off randomly. Found out that it was the hood/bonnet sensor. Thanks to your instructions on how to remove it, I took the sensor off and found that the metal strip that puts tension on the switch had been too "depressed", thus making the switch trip...- vinnysca

Park Brake fault
It may be that your eBrake module may need to be reset by the dealer. Did you change brake pads, or have you used your D3 to wade through water? Vinny -

Need advice on possible front bumper hitch mount...

So cold outside....but toasty hands...
My LR3 started just fine. Although, the battery in it is only less than a year old. So that may play a big difference in how it starts. I did put a thread here on how I did my steering wheel mod. Just do a search on it. Vince -

Towing - Who has towed what?

climate control: heater on auto
it is normal. once you select a vent setting, the auto mode disengages. I do this during the Winter season. I like the heat at my hand level since my 2008 does not have a heated steering wheel. -

Oil Change...
My dealer for my 2008 LR3 HSE told me that oil change interval on my truck is every 7.5K miles. My truck sits in my garage most of the the time (since I only use it during Winter and on weekends, but rarely). I do make sure that I run the engine and play with the high and low gears at least... -

New Lr4!!!!!!!!
I don't like the tail lights. Looks too after market. Oh, and is it me or the front bumper looks like it is pre-cut to accept an off road winch? If so, then I like it! :-)
