    Fuel Gauge Stuck on Empty

I believe the connectors you are looking for are on the right side behind the wheel well splash guard, right up against the body they are pretty obvious.

275 65 R18 - Drivable on bumpstop in AES Failure?

just put in an emergency air up kit and you can manually air things up if needed. There are a couple different solutions out there if you search around. I made my own for my offroad adventures but there are simpler ones out there.

Way too much body roll to the point it's dangerous

The shocks do ware out. If the cross valve was leaking I can't imagine it would be substantial enough to cause excessive sway unless it was almost locked open which should produce a fault. The only leaking I have heard of was just overnight slow leaks of the valves causing the vehicle to lower.

    Fuel Gauge Stuck on Empty

I can't remember for sure but I recall 1 is front and 2 is rear. It has been awhile but I think the actual sensor says 1 or 2 on the module itself so someone who has replaced one recently might be able to chime in and look at their sensors. As to the fix by Crayonson I think what will...

    Ash Tray Won't Close...

If i recall you have to pop the lower console cover up to get the ash ray module out. That being said there is a little catch mechanism in there that can fail eventually. I fixed it by removing the coil spring and then you just have to manually pull it out or in. The module itself is fairly...

Wont Start - Fuel Pump Relay Grounding Issue?

Taking out the tank is no fun. What year is yours? Somewhere after my 06 the rear sensor at the fuel pump came with a ground wire mine did not have. They are pretty hard ro mess up maybe you just got the sensor out of alignment which will cause it to give funky readings and eventually fault...

Wont Start - Fuel Pump Relay Grounding Issue?

If I recall, the ground wire was a fairly heavy gauge black wire in one of the corner pins. I used the wiring schematic from topix electrical section. http://topix.landrover.jlrext.com/topix/vehicle/lookupForm I have seen the manual out there on the net. not sure if it had a the electrical...

    Suspension fault error code? Screenshot

I had this one once upon a time. All sensors and wiring were good so as a last ditch effort I re-flashed the EAS ECU software with my faultmate and it went away never to be seen again. See my other post to your fuel pump question.

Wont Start - Fuel Pump Relay Grounding Issue?

Could it be the pump itself? My fuel pump ground shorted out at the wiring harness plug in the left rear wheel socket that couples the main harness to the frame harness. Once I traced it there, just opened it up and cleaned contacts and it solved it. You can also test the pump from there.

Replacing the suspension air pump on a 2009 discovery 3

I disconnect my battery all the time with no ill effects other then having to reset the radio clock. Never heard of any issue with that as almost all repair procedures from the manual start with disconnecting the battery.

    E-brake lock-up!!!

I had the squeal and lock up a few years back on my 06 and I cleared the codes to release it. But it would come back intermittently. I also used Bodsy's break bible from the UK site to adjust and bed in the parking break and it has never returned. It is and easy process.

Next on the list, transfer case seal leak.

If you are still under a warranty you could probably get the drive line replaced. mine was once and in about 24 months it started again.

Next on the list, transfer case seal leak.

The grease you are seeing is from the drive line joint not the transfer case. My 06 has been throwing that grease for about 5 years. all that will happen is that eventually you will have to replace the rear drive line. If it is not vibrating or making any extra noise I would not worry about it...

    Tire size for Cooper AT3's?

BFG is the superior choice if any off-road is in the equation. You can't hardly get a flat due to the 3 ply sidewall and I have been in some razor sharp rock conditions. Off-road I had many flats on the coopers and others that only had 2 ply.

    Suspension Fault..Newbie

Many things can register as a sensor fault. A shock going bad, a shock leak, etc. Anything that disrupts the normal function of the shock motion can cause a sensor fault. At least if you know which corner it is you can focus the attention. How old are the shocks? Might need to replace them.

    Trailering a LR3

only need to disconnect one in the fuse box under the hood. 25 amp fuse, 3rd from the front on the right hand side of the box.

    Alarm going off

Take it to the dealer. They can read what the last 5 alarm triggers were. Some indies can also but i don't know what system they use.

    Trailering a LR3

You can always disconnect the battery or pull the EAS fuse once it is trailered and in access height. It will not move again from there until you power it up again.

LR3 compressor issues... trying to see if I can fix this....

That I believe is the Air intake line. I don't think you can replace just the fitting, but i would have to get up under there and take a look to be sure. A new air intake line runs about $65 depending on where you get it from. and not to hard to install. since it is the itake it does not hold...

LR3 compressor issues... trying to see if I can fix this....

Your picture is not big enough for me to see it well. Get me some bigger ones and I will see if I can help. The clip nut (Speed Nut) I think is what you are referring and they come in all sizes and variations. I can't remember what the one looks like for the compressor mount.

    Have Parts Prices Gone Up?

Same here, planning to keep it as the family adventure vehicle and get a new one for daily. As I recall the price increase was across the board on all makes and models.

    Have Parts Prices Gone Up?

Yes, there was a substantial increase a couple years ago. One way to save some money on a few things is to check the part as it may be a Ford part and the part number is usually on it somewhere, then call Ford. Sometimes I get them for 30% less. It does not work for everything as there are a...

    Unwelcome Dynamic Stability Control (DSC)

Mine does that once in a while usually after an off-road trip but goes away the next day. I would suspect a wheel speed sensor or dynamic sensor may be acting up. Does it do it in one direction predominately?
