In my case
My LR3 at 91,000 mile a wired sound from the Engine bay with the hood open you hear like a pssssssss with the Engine running
I check hose by hose.
To fix the problem
Was broken the T in the hose for bleeding the coolant closer to the thermostat housing.. Only the plastic T not the hose. i just put a fitting in copper and good to go.
