Unfortunately, is says form '13 to '17. Mine is a '12.

Their years may be wonky, however. The site lists the LR3 unit as 2005 to 2013.

It's got to be a typo. MY2012-16s all work with the virtually identical MOST Gen 2.1 interface, at least here in North America. Perhaps on some markets abroad the previous generation MOST interface (used on NAS MY2010-11s) spilled over on some 2012s, but not here.

I do not have any idea about the lr3 unit but if the unit from MY12 is the same as the one from lr3 then this should work

I think they are listing lr3 upto 2013 because the unit was the same and the new unit was not realeased until 2013. And maybe the early 13' models have the old unit.

If your main screen is same as the below pic then the one from 2013 onwards should work

There should be a way to mirror your phone without having to install anything. I've been meaning to do some research on that.
