Looking to use my LR3 for what it was made to do and do some off-roading, however I haven't found any local groups and it appears my dealer is more interested in selling to the luxury crowd so they can get to/from the mall.
Anyone around Tampa, FL?

Miami here and have toured Big Cypress several times. Its ok- I prefer minimal mud which is sometimes hard to get around in there.. I've heard the Ocala area has some areas to ride or best head up to GA or the Carolinas...
Alafia and Boyette parks are close near Tampa- great places for MTN biking...if you ride bikes. Doing the Fat Tire festival again out there this Fall..

Bushway, the Florida Land Rover Club has several members in that area. There is also a trail ride/Ralley at the end of this month planned.

Sorry for hijacking the thread, but maybe you guys could help me out. I'm looking to purchase an LR3 in Ocala, FL. There isn't a dealership there, so I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations for Land Rover specialists that could do an inspection of the LR3 that I'm prospectively buying. Just want a good review of the suspension, engine, transmission, etc. to make sure everything looks good.
Any suggestions in the Ocala area?

Greco, the FLRC (see above) has some members over there. Post in their forums and someone may pop up. Unfortunately Ocala is 4 hours away for me.
