buying old land rover

hello folks
I would like to hear your tips and thoughts about my future purchase. I want to buy not a new car 1999 Land Rover Range Rover.
the body is scratched in some places and there are scratches on the wheel rims. Is it possible to mask it somehow?

Sorry I didn't read this sooner, took the holiday off...

You can cover or mask a lot of things with paints, but alloy wheels you will have a hard time masking with paint.

For a 1999 Rover I am not sure wheels being scratched up would cause much alarm.
