Speaking of pics... have any of your rig?

I think I'm gonna order compos tomorrow. Already know I'll be getting black for my Fuji white w/black pack. Haven't seen anyone with white and 265/60 KO2s.
As soon as they arrive and I install them, I'll get some photos out! The link above to the Black LR4 is the exact same setup though so you can get an idea of proportions. He's running Compos with KO2s at 265/60R18.

Yup - the extra diameter would be nice but I don't need the potential warranty headaches just yet....maybe later as you say.

I saw whose pictures of bullmrkts rig - i agree = they look very slick - the anthracire grey looks very dark in those photos, almost black. In some other photos they look much lighter but I'm guessing it just a factor of the ambient light and maybe the body colour influences it too.
Just remember that the Anthracite in those photos looks darker because of the dried mud on the tires. I've seen a few photos of the Anthracite on White LR4s and it looked a bit off. That was the driving reason I ended up going with the Satin Black.

Not sure what you guys keep going on about warranty and the 265/65 KO2s. I put a brand new pair on mine and do not have rubbing, nor would tires affect warranty. Don't shy away from the bigger ones for warranty woes. This is the second set of bigger tires I have run without the heat shield and I have never noticed any heat damage or otherwise. Plenty of people here run the 265/65 size and can also chime in. (Plenty on the previous pages)

I've read numerous accounts of the 265/65s a) rubbing at full articulation and b) requiring both the removal of the heat shield and requiring almost full deflation in order to stow them in the full-sized spare area. Also, I've heard a few people comment on the 65s getting in the way of the tow hitch. Given, many can solve the latter of those issues with a roof rack or swing mount but I have a seriously low garage entrance and I'm not ready to rip out the rear bumper just yet.

As for warranty, maybe it won't be an issue but, in my experience, the more work you do on the vehicle, the more that a dealership or LR can point to as something that had an ancillary effect on some other system that might fail. The loss of convenience and (minimal) risk is not work the extra 1"... at least, in my opinion. I'm sure I'll loosen up as time goes on but I'm happy playing it cautious for the moment.

Welp... pulled the trigger on the Compos and 265/60 bfg KO2s today.

I hear you @wlvrn. For all the reasons you mentioned, I too went for the near stock circumference of the 60s. It's not worth a single one of those nuisances of the 65s, let alone all of them combined, for what is actually only an additional half inch of sidewall.

Now I just have to figure out what to do for the TPMS and order some center caps. (I want to keep the OEM wheels and sensors in case I want dedicated winters)

I need to stop spending money...

Someone on here posted that their dealer specifically said there would be no issues with warranty claims as long as tires are within 3% of OEM, so that would rule out 265/65, IF THAT IS TRUE. I doubt it is a specific LR rule and some dealers are more open to mods than others. You have to know who you are dealing with, or better yet, just ask them and see what they say...

That's good info to spread around if it's true.

I hear you on the $$.

I found a some caps on Ebay. Not 100% sure these are the exact fit but I have read a few posts saying that 63mm is the correct fit.

Greg at Johnson Rods also does sell the sensors. I can't speak to how competitively priced they are, but it's certainly an option.

Thanks for the link!

Greg has been pretty awesome so far. Level of personal service is great.

Only thing is after spending over $3k I really don't want to drop $375 for sensors. If I can save $100, I'm gonna try...

Still gotta get Prospeed ladder and roof rack, find a cool sump guard and maybe some maxtraxx.

So tricky. I let the better half decide in the end and she said black.

Heres some pics of black rims on a black body from P_J_F earlier on in this thread - these happen to be BFG AT 265/65
