I have a leak where the CV on the passenger side connects to the intermediate shaft....the "barrel" of the CV is damp. I read somewhere that the seal is integral to the CV axle, is that true?

Thanks!

Look at a parts diagram. It may show as single unit if its integral

It looks to me like the seal is integral to the differential, not the inner CV joint.
From the manual:
SERVICE
The oil used in the front differential is Castrol SAF-XO. The oil contains unique additives, which enhance the differentials operation. No other oil must be used in the front differential.
Front Differential Serviceable Components
l Halfshaft seals l Needle roller bearing assemblies l Chassis bush/fixings l Lubricant.
