I did my research

the official standard is to remove the glove compartment first, which REQUIRES a special tool 501-113

I checked some video from youtube on LR3 model, which seems not necessary to completely remove it

I checked the LR3 and LR4 repair manual about the blower part, which are almost exactly the same

so my guess is I can follow the LR3 video to do the same thing on LR4

better safe than sorry , I would like to get yours 2 cents before I start

Thanks

Squirrel! Just hope they don't knaw your wiring harness.
Rodents filled the airbox of my daughters Audi, but with her dog kibble
I now put moth balls under the hood when leaving for a few days. Just returned from a rodent research center in NM where they leave all vehicles with hoods up.

harness is good

i am confused that how they get in since there is little room between the blower and the cabin air filter, etc

moth balls may be a good idea

thanks
