I did a search and haven't found a definitive answer.
Just picked up a 2006 LR3 SE 87k miles. In very good condition drives perfect with service records.

Got a quote for the 90k service from a reputable indie LR shop, $775.
I'm a decent wrench and a DIY kind of guy so I'm thinking tackle what I can myself.

I have conflicting info for the 90k service.
these I know for sure:
-oil change
-spark plugs
-cabin filters
-check/inspect various other items

These I'm not sure of:
-brake fluid check or change?
-trans fluid/filter change?
Seems as if there is controversy at 90k, LR says no but BA sells the "kit" to add to confusion??

-front rear diff oil change?

Seeing as I don't really know the history of the truck should I do more than the stated 90k service?
I don't mind but I dont want to fix something that is not broke.

I was planning on using the Topix for service info.

Google to the rescue -

This service manual just says spark plugs;
90K service

This one lists a bunch of stuff...
Maintenance Schedule

I'd say if any service is recommended for the differentials, transmission fluid, etc. (drive train). Do it.

Thank you, I saw those schedules. I just wanted a second opinion because when I called the indie shop they did not mention any of the other things other than plug, oil, filters.

I'm inclined to do as much as I can, thanks!

Diffs and tranny for sure...I did brake fluid AND the actual lines because I was taking the Rover to the Yukon territory a few years back...everything made of rubber got changed.

Yeah, it also says "all flexible brake lines" and there's a kit available. Sounds a bit excessive but couldnt hurt
