Yeah it was a good time. Looking forward to some trails in the Buena Vista/Leadville area when the snow has a little more time to melt.

The silver Ford pick up truck in the photo made us laugh. This guy hammered through everything with zero care in the world and a who cares attitude. He banged down this slab of rock and continued down into the valley with no hesitation.

We developed an image of a guy with a truck that crab walks down the road with his bent frame within the year. We also imagined him bad mouthing our Land Rover troupe of over priced vehicles and pampered drivers saying he could buy 5 of his vehicle for the price of one of ours with the same capability.

Painful watching him, but I sure would have liked to see him work his way back out. I'm confident he had a lot of under carriage damage, unseen damage and the desire of some capability above the standard 4x4 Ford offers.

I'm sure he made it back out fine, but I hope he was able to do it without damaging his vehicle due to the early spring road conditions.

On that note I need to armor up the LR4 and pay more attention to the passenger side to avoid future character building scars.

"Hold my beer while I drive down this rock"

I used some Meguiar's scratch remover on my truck with some success. A lot of the little ones can't be seen anymore and it helped the big one. It is still noticeable if you look for it though. Thats the downside of owning a black vehicle... everything shows up.
