I have a 2012 range rover supercharged with 98k miles. I have done most of the maintenance myself since I bought it used. All fluids (except coolant), air filters, spark plugs, transmission pan/filter.
I am told that it is good idea to replace the O2 sensors due to its mileage.
I have 4 new Denso sensors, 2 for the front and 2 for the back.
I did get a code for one of the sensors when I took for a trip from San Antonio to Houston and
was like 100F plus and was idling for 10-15 minutes and the check engine came on. I read the code with
the hawkeye and it showed to be one of the o2 sensors, I cleared it almost 2 weeks back
and the code has not come back yet.
SI assume I should replace the sensors?
Also, the front brakes make a howling sound during slow or moderate braking only with hot brakes?
It looks like the first owner replaced the front brakes.
saw a tech bulletin about this and LR is suggesting to go to a different brake pad.
Has anyone used brake quiet etc to see if this squealor howling sound goes away?
