On my 2004 Discovery, I have 18" wheels, does anyone know of any tire sizes that can get me to a 30.5" diameter while keeping the 18" wheel (without moving to a 16" wheel)?

I am trying to get a bigger tire without making any modifications (at this point anyway) to the wheel wells or suspension. I understand that a 30.5-inch diameter is the biggest I can/should go before modifications become necessary (and I think, but not sure, around 10 to 11 inches wide is the largest width possible).

I would do everything at once! Once you get a lift, you will want tires that fit the lift well. That will cost more money. If I were you, I would buy some springs, but wait on shocks. Then I would buy some sweet 285/75R18 (I think these are the new tires from BFG).

Without doing any modifications, the biggest tire size would be 245/75R16.
