okay, I guess I am looking at the "load index" and not the "load range" :\

I have no idea what the difference is, but I haven't investigated it yet. I guess I'll do more tire research tomorrow.

dantheman is right, btw, the "tire specification" in the LR3 manual says to use (depending on the wheel size):

235/70 R17 H with a load index of 111
255/60 R18 H or V with a load index of 112
255/55 R19 H or V with a load index of 111

Isn't that weird? I guess it can be explained that tires with a load index between X and X fall into Load Range D, and so forth. I wish there was a chart for this....ah, but there is!:

Looking good DuckDive! Ready for Calico again? Those BFG's should work much better than the tires you had previously:

Yep, the Toyos were cool. Even with the BFG's, rod mod, sliders taken in 2" and
a few trails wiser it would still be a tough trail to tackle. You should touch base
Olaf and run a trail with us soon. Sorry to hijack the thread guys!

You made your own Slims? That's very cool! It's getting to be Calico season. Good idea about contacting Olaf. Hope to see you soon.

Yep, check it out. William from Premier Rover did them for me. Still have not done Nightmare
yet. Would love to do that trail.
