Hard to say, but that white object definitely looks like a pillow stuck under what I can only imagine is all of their gear that's been dumped forward from the back. I doubt the airbags would go off given what looks like minimal damage. If you saw Tanner Foust do something similar in the Overland Journal LR4 on American Top gear, his airbags didn't deploy, and he hit hard.

Always, always strap your load to the attachment points....a pillow might be an exception.
I imagine being conked in the back of the melon with my tool kit or fire extinguisher
