One problem with brake fluid leaking into the servo is it will eat up the diahram inside the servo and then you will need to replace it also.

What led me to this was the difficulty I had in moving the pistons back into the caliper while replacing a set of pads - there was enough evidence of binding to warrant changing out the caliper - not sure why it fixed the intermittent "no brake" problem, but my guess is that if it was not air entrainment, there may have been a path inside the caliper cylinder that allowed fluid to essentially "bypass" the piston when the pad thickness was at a minimum. ps - there was no evidence of brake fluid leakage at the time.
