    Introduction and Question

    I had a similar experience... Mine was replacement of the Brake light switch. Ordered it from British Atlantic Parts online. Go to your local Auto parts store ask them to do the computer diagnostics checkup... all major places like O'Riely's, AutoZone, Discount Auto Parts, or major chain in...

    Big LR4 issue, cut losses and sell vs fix?

    Check in your area (I see you are listed in your profile in US) for a Land Rover Only or Euro Specialist. In my Area (Nashville, TN) there are Two Excellent choices other than the LR Dealers. Recently I had the Transfer Case and Auxiliary Motor that operates it "Go Out" $10600. at Land Rover...

    LR4 -> Defender anyone?

    I totally agree (although I drive an LR3 for last 10 years), LR4's (an Great improvement over the LR3) deserved more respect. I too stopped watching US version of TopGear, for that uneducated review!

    Health of Tata Motors and the future of Land Rover brand.... ?

    Myself I was off the Discovery 5 when a V8 was not in the cards! Having a test drive, tried on a Diesel too, it sucked performance wise these experiences unsold me on a D5. The future of Land Rovers image is hinging on a successful defender reception (most likely Non-V8 available) . The diehards...

    Had this done at my Land Rover ONLY Mechanic, he suggested it, when I had trany shifting issue. Works perfectly Now no issues. This service requirement (not the kit that is aftermarket but perfect) is listed at 90,000 miles in your LR3 Manual. Also happened to my 2004 Range Rover after service...

    Pondering an LR4 - Question

    Not a LR4 owner but on my third LR3! All the above are what I have experienced as "Typical / Normal" to be anticipated "Maintenance" LR3/LR4 issues. Knowing this is part of the Land Rover "Experience. Having the benefit of the knowledge base of the members of this board has been part of my...

    Ha! finally I have a "known issue" to fix on the LR3 - rear tailgate latch switch

    There is an idea for B/A to add to their Kit. Having had the pain of it failing while closed. I had to resort to cutting the interior lower panel on the tailgate in order to "get to" the mechanism just to open the gate (the cable was broken which requires replacement of the entire switch...

    2008 LR3 overheating -coolant not circulating

    I apologize I did not mention when I did it myself... It still had the problem. That is the reason I had to take it to a LR Mechanic to recalibrate the computer for the new module with sensor then it worked properly. I daily drive a 2005 LR3. ALSO have a 2004 Range Rover (a "Cream Puff"). My...

    And the winner is.... #2! I have owned 2 LR3’s. And experienced several repair issues along the ownership trail. The seat issue with #1, in my area is a $375. repair. Tire Size Recommendations (Newbees Have Asked a Thousand Times... I am sure.)

    I just purchased a 2004 Range Rover HSE. Yes needs TLC. I am outfitting to go to the Trail instead of the only the Mall.
