I would definitely get them - but can't justify the $700+ for the Land Rover version. I am very curious who will find a different option aftermarket???

I hear you! But I must admit..... Those lights are cool!

The lights look great but the price tag is insane. There is no way I'll pay over $1000 installed.

I agree. But when you think that they have to cover their behinds in case the screw up the bumper, it makes more sense, but still is too much $$$$$$$$.

They look nice...but it seems that lately I see all these Audi's and what not's that are only at best a year old, running around with only 1 light on. And just to annoy my wife and youngest son who thinks they are the best thing since sliced bread, I point and laugh each time.

Lights when it dark...cool. The LED lights during the middle of the day when the sun is shining brightly...reminds me of the yahoos wearing sunglasses at night or at the gym.

I don't know guys; I'm not sold on these $700 LEDs. I've been installing aftermarket parts in my vehicles for the past 22 yrs now, but these LEDs are not worth it! I rather add that money to nice light-weight forged wheels and save a few MPGs on fuel. It's hard to beat Audi's and Merc's LEDs. However, I've seen better out there. The Key is to make it look natural...like it's part of the car, i.e. OEM from the assembly line. 1st, the LEDs are too low on the vehicle which makes it look unnatural in my opinion. You can find better placements.

Guys, check out www.carid.com. I'm in the middle of buying purchasing 20x9 wheels and tires for my LR4 as I'm typing this. They have a good selection of LEDs by the way half the price of what the dealer charges, and probably better quality to. I rather pay $300 for something that's made in China than $700. I wouldn't be surprised the LEDs are made in China or Taiwan. I could be wrong. I was actually contemplating whether I should invest in LEDs and install them somewhere inside or behind the front grill. You got the middle and bottom row within the grill to place them. Depending how much you want to pay, you can choose how long you want the LEDs to be. However, changed my mind b/c I don't like any aftermarket wires splicing or added into the fuse box. Also, I rather use that money on the new LR4 exhaust from Magnaflow...however, they sound a little too aggressive for a family car, but definitely how a V-8 should sound. Check out carid.com and let me know what you think.

Anyone else install these or other LED kits?

I have them. I'd call your parts dept and see if they can track down a separate part number for the surrounds. It is worth a shot.

The lights are on anytime the ignition is on, regardless of gear selection. Once you turn on the park lights or anything else, they shut off. I'm sure you could change the wiring setup easily if you wanted them on all the time. It doesn't really bother me so I never looked at it.
