There is a single button to the left of the heating controls on a 4 button cluster.
It has a picture of what looks like a 2 converging lines with a skateboard over it.
What does this button do for me?

I'm pretty sure that button is to turn on/off cruise control. I have a similar looking button in my rangie in the same location with that function.

Yes

It certainly sounds as if you are describing the cruise control switch. I always thought that icon was strange.

I has the same question yesterday and "MightyMax" informed me that it is for the cruise control. I tested it last night and that was it...strange icon!

It is the cruise controll on /off button the icon is the same as the one used for the autobahn or freeway symbol in Europe.

It makes sense, so I tried it, my cruise doesn't appear to work, is there another light on the dash that comes on when the cruise it set?

It's supposed to resemble a highway, not some howlie grinding some phat rails on a skateboard. Strange indeed.

I can't recall if there is a light or not...but for some reason I think their is. I'd check, but my vacuum lines need to be checked as well.

Could you post a pic of your dash area, being sure to include the steering wheel (particularly the right hand side of the steering wheel)?

You will also need to pull back on the + set button on the right side of the steering wheel in order to activate the cruise controll
