For now, yeah, staying with the stock size. Need to work these in slowly into the rig, it's Mama's wagon during the week...

Man those tires look great....very fitting for a Rover.

Is it typical for tire shops to give you a credit on your current tires as someone mentioned earlier?

Don't know about the tire credit, I didn't factor that in. I assume things like that is like dealing with the government, they give you a credit here, they increase your taxes over there, so you are always screwed if you expect to get any real benefit. Just speaking about my experience..

Nice choice of tires for the 19" wheels! Be sure to post some pictures when you get them dirty.

Okay, get them on today. Here is the rig with the new shoes, can't wait to take it to a challenging area and try this out. I will be going to the Land Rover School for sure on 8/25.

Also, check out this new service in Charlotte. They come out to your house, or anywhere, and mount/balance tires. The name is Rolling Tread, they filled the tires with nitrogen too. All while we are at home, can't beat that for my liking.

Full service truck, neat idea, I need one of those for the track days!

Then on the 18" wheels get something for winter snow and ice, and for offroad fun like Goodyear Wrangler SilentArmor:

What size tire are you going for on the Compo's?

Those look great . . . are you going to rub without Johnson Rods?

Maybe just a little bit. I'm still trying to decide about running rods full time. I have a set. I may try without at first and see how it goes.
