Today's project was installing some satin silver roof rails and cross bars.

The cross bars look good. Do they have a lot of wind noise or pretty quiet?

Haven't been on the highway yet, but I think they'll be pretty quiet. But once I add the ski and bike carriers, it might be a different story.

They are pretty quiet. I have the same cross bars on mine and you can only hear them at highway speeds if you turn the radio and A/C off and if your in the second row.
Goloaf they look great by the way. I think crossbars really complement the LR4.

I agree. They aren't very noise but it may also depend where you have them placed. They whistle at HW speeds and it's more prevelant to me when I have to move them further up towards the moonroof.
