Thanks very much for the review. I just bought it on Amazon. A great (compact) addition for my emergency bag and will replace the traditional jumper cables that have been around for about 100 years.

I will add that I borrowed a friend's when I was trying to troubleshoot my Dad's Ford Expedition. I was very skeptical but my friend operates a landscaping company and told me he is very reliant on this little battery in the winter (I still didn't believe it would work)...well, it did. Also, been meaning to buy one since then...thank's for the reminder!

My only hesitation would be how often do you need to top-up charge the battery pack while it is stored in the vehicle? They do lose charge (like any other lithium battery) over a period of time, especially during temperature fluctuations. The other thing to consider is the proper storage of Li-ion batteries is to be only charged at 40%. This obviously is not ideal for relying as a jump starter, so I expect the battery life of the pack to be compromised if you try and keep it topped up at 100%.

Very cool item though and I honestly had no idea something like this existed!

I've had mine in the trunk for over 6 months now. I gave a motorbike a charge about 3 months and checked it today. I was at 3 out of 5 bars. I'm topping it off now.

I've had the battery for about a year now.

Just thought I would revisit this older topic to warn people to be careful with imitation products. After seeing this thread I went on Amazon and purchased a "similar" product from Dan's Auto. Tried it for the first time today on my wife's Honda CRV. It has a 98% charge. Not only did it not start my wife's battery, the cables began smoking. Junk. I also went back to Amazon and noticed that there are in fact some knockoffs of the original Antigravity products that are built with poor quality. So I just purchased the XP-10 from the Antigravity website. I don't want to need it in a pinch and find out I had a knockoff. There are probably a lot of people that got the real thing on Amazon. I just decided to be safe this time.

I got mine from newegg.com. They had a great price. . I used it few times already with no problems.
Well..., lr4 battery does not last long in Arizona heat.
In January 2015 my original battery was replaced under warranty. The new one ( interstate) lasted 12 months. Got another interstate covered under warranty. This antigravity xp-10 should come as a standard equipment on LR4.

Don't know if 6 months of ownership qualifies for a "long term" update... Haven't had to whip it out yet in an emergency, but I did top it up twice so far (every 3 months - it's become part of my change-of-season routine, like changing the A/C and furnace air filter, fridge water filter, engine oil, etc.) and on both occasions the battery still showed 5 lit LEDs, so somewhere between 80% and 100% charge. I topped it up both times anyway, the 5th LED blinked for about an hour before extinguishing, AKA "fully charged". Not much of an update, I guess. I am almost disappointed my battery hasn't left me stranded yet, LOL.

I did buy an accessory for it (it fits in the pouch with the others): http://themicrostart.com/products/accessories/adapter-female-cigarette-socket-12v-dc-tip/ - in case I need to power up a 12V device supplied with a cig lighter adapter for a few hours away from the car, such as my ARB portable fridge near the tent overnight when I camp, for example.

It is mind boggling how one product can go up with price in the matter of one event.
When I had it in cart , on Amazon prime , it was 128 bucks, but right before a hurricane , that suppose to brush a NJ shore, this fall, it went up to almost 180 dollars .Storm never materialized but the price came down since then., which is around 178 or 9 now , I think. For 130 it was reasonable , but 178 ? NO, so I bought Suaoki unit with the same output , with a few extra gadgets, such as flashlight, strobe, sos and emergency redLED blinking light for a roadside safety , for a $100 .Cheers

I second that. The OEM website wants over $200 now.

Thanks for the update Umbertob. I asked because a lot of reviews on Amazon and eBay that I saw were complaints about quality. Seems like they buying knock offs. You're reporting solid performance so I'm sold. I'm very interested in this product and will probably just purchase from the OEM.
