I suggest you try lurking around the Disco 5 UK site. I'm not sure if linking other forum sites is allowed here. Several new owners have been discussing their experience the Discovery. One forum member, less than 2 weeks into ownership, is already experiencing the dreaded electronic glitches that the dealer can't seem to fix.
? Man I'm completely out of the loop. In the UK people are already taking delivery and driving these things? Will have to look...

I'll take the same approach I used to take with first model year Audis- if you have too many issues, trade it in just before the warranty expires at 50K miles. And if the D5 is in for repairs, I'll just request an LR4 loaner.

Dealer said I'd get mine in June. I'm crossing my fingers, and will it be called a yr 2017 or 2018 if it comes in later?

Build date early may, delivery is late June :(

What color did you get?

My color pick was Yulong White,it has a soft gray tone to it. PLUS
it'll look cleaner when it's dirty;) opposed to the darker gray on my Touareg. It seemed like I had to wash that car more often.

between Paris Dakar and Camel Trophy.

I assume this means
New Land Rover Discovery to Get an Off-Road SVO Version

"I can’t tell you what the SV version of the Discovery will be like but in my mind it will be in between Paris Dakar and Camel Trophy. Somewhere in there is a product waiting to get out,"

Curious to see what this will be. Historically, the off-road oriented Special Vehicles Discoveries weren't too different than the standard versions. The Disco XD came in a different color with hood blackout and vinyl seats. I believe the DII Trek vehicles differed only by badging (or maybe they got center diff lock before the DII regained it?). Etc.

I'd guess the D5 SVO will have different badging, come standard with Duratracs, have a roof rack, and maybe some more skid plates.
