Relocating to Stowe, Vermont. Service options ...

Land Rover doesn't have a dealership in VT, the closest one to Stowe is in NH about 200 miles away. I'm planing to keep my 13 LR4 until the day where maintenance becomes an issue. I'm at 57K miles now and besides a new battery and set of brakes/rotors, its needed nothing but oil changes, which I use a local indy shop for. Does anyone out there happen to live in the Stowe/Burlington area and have an indy shop recommendation?

There’s a guy who restores LRs in Colchester. He might be able to recommend someone. He does not do service on recent vehicles. There’s New England Foreign Cars and also NE Foreign cars in Hartford but that a schlep (but not 200 miles). I go to these guys.

Are there any in Canada?

Hit this site: www.lrshops.com

It's a directory of indy shops and when I just searched Vermont I found 7 in VT and several more in surrounding states and Canada. I can't personally vouch for the accuracy of this site or for any of the shops listed, but it might be a good starting point.

Curiously, the list doesn’t show Northern Motorsport in Wilder VT or NE Foreign Cars on the Woodstock Road in Hartford (White River Jnctn)

Both are top-drawer and work on a lot of LRs

Stay away from Land Rover Bedford. Dishonest

Good luck with the move, btw. Stowe, VT (or really just about the entire state) seems like the perfect home for an LR4. I'm envious.

I actually found out the unexpected way that there were no LR service centers in VT while on a recent trip up there and my CEL came on. Closest was actually in Montreal and since a visit up there was already planned I took it by there to get it checked. Ended up being an O2 and second battery issue so I decided to wait and get it repaired at my home dealer.

There is however an LR off road experience in VT which was pretty sweet!! My $0.02...

That's right and I was surprised to learn that the Manchester VT LR Experience is actually closer in distance from DC than the one at the Biltmore in Asheville, NC.
