If you search, there's a thread on here where the TerrainContacts are reviewed. That's probably your best source of info.

Regarding the maximum width, 255/55/19, because that's the only size available in a 19" tire.

Looks good. If I am buying new wheels it will be 18" Compmotives.

I can confirm the G2‘s fit without any rub at 265 50 20. A little knobby at low speed but not much highway drone.

I find the compomotives ugly so I decided to stick with the factory wheels. Yes I know 18s are better but I made it through Death Valley with summer contis so at this point these tires are a massive upgrade anyway.

I have 285/40/22 on my 2013 LR4 and that is the absolute limit. Rubs when you turn all the way but not much. Just tried yesterday to add 285/45/22 nitto g2s on them which looked amazing but did not fit, rubbed big time on turns.

I'm hoping the knowledge base here can help shed some light on a mysterious tire fitment issue. After reading many, many tire threads, I decided to run nittro terra grapplers 265/50/20 on 20" oem ten spoke rims (2012 LR4 HSE). So all excited, I took the rims and tires to get fitted, rears went on fine, but much to my surprise the front tires would bump into there upper ball joint preventing a flush mount. Suffice enough to say, I had to give up, load the wheels back into the truck and leave feeling pretty defeated. As I drove away, I noticed that the suspension had been set to off road height, not sure if this was an accident on the techs part, but I didn't have time to return that day and ask some more questions. Any ideas, thoughts on what the problem might be, shouldn't the tires fit in off road mode anyway? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Putting the suspension on off-road height is procedure when lifting all 4 off the ground. Regardless, the tire shouldn't ever touch no matter what height the suspension is at. I'm not sure about that size tire, though; I have no knowledge of the 20-inch wheel issues.

Are the 20 inch wheels you have from an LR4?

Thanks for getting back, Yes, the rims are factory rims 20 x 8.5. So many people have confirmed this tire size and wheel dimension on their rig that I was surprised it didn't fit. I did have another thought, the front rotors are aftermarket, could this affect anything? Again, I'm assuming since it's a high quality aftermarket product the rotor specs need to be the same, and I see no depth difference when inspecting the lug nuts.

I doubt the rotors have anything to do with it. They'd have to be a lot thinner in the hub portion to make that much difference. What brand are the rotors?
