The book says that DSC light will stay on if the DSC button is turned off, that's easy to check. What does the information center message say? The little green box in the center of the instrument cluster has a message, access it by toggling through with the turn signal lever button.

I’ve read threads, replaced parts, checked wire contacts, cried, laughed, etc. I’m up to my wits ends! It all started with the 3 amigos showing up on my instrument panel, I plugged my OBD2 and code p0500 and other small read outs such as a key fob 2 battery low. I’ve traveled from the sun roof down to the floor board hoping to find anything to get me on track to resolve my issue.
Again, from OEM taillights, O2 sensors, ABS SENSORS, BRAKE SENSOR, etc. being replaced I’m at a halt asking for advice.
I had much the same problem and the solution was per the link below, repair of some corroded / broken conductors going into an electrical plug.

My 3 is a 2005 and has the connectors per the jpg's in the link. Newer 3's have the connectors moved to under the left side headlight.

Initially the assumption was I had an ABS unit problem and for a few thousand, to replace it. We then replaced the right rear ABS brake sensor to no effect. It was only with great difficulty that the real problem was discovered and the fix, a few inches of 3M electrical tape.

It helps if you can let us know what year etc your 3 is as LR did change things a bit, mostly for the better, as they discovered weak areas in the design.
