My windshield wipers will not return to the set positions when I shut them off. They will stay in a upright position on the windshield. I can manually return them to the set (start) position when I turn the car off.
Wipers wont return to set position.

Are they in “winter mode”? Found out w my wife’s MY15 RR that there is a setting that keeps the wipers up a little on the windshield.

I have a 2011 RRS and I also was experiencing erratic behavior. The wipers would get stuck vertical or in the middle of the windshield.
I turned out to be that my wiper motor has a park position switch that goes bad. I purchased a wiper assembly with a motor take off from ebay. The donor car was a 2012 RRS with 55k miles. I swapped it and now the wipers work.
I hope my experience helps you.
PS. I paid $55 shipped for the ebay part. I took three hours of work taking my time to swap it around.
