Looks an awful lot like an lr4. Except for the side swinging rear door. Looks better than the disco 5 regardless

I don’t think any details have been mentioned, but not sure it looks as big as the lr4 in the back. So maybe only two rows? I hope they have three.

I would put money on it being 2 row with some odd ball "ex" version having a 3rd squished row. The default for 7 seats is going to stay D5 would be my guess .

I am just confused. What is going on with land rover. Discovery5 has nothing in common with Discovery line.
It is a capable car but has no character and looks like any other cross over on the market. These new spy shots of future Defender..... Are they just refreshing LR4 and calling it DEFENDER and charging costumers premium dollars for it? This should be Disco 5 if you ask me.. It looks good to me as succesor of discovery but not of Defender. Let's wait and see the details and pricing.
It would take me one day to put some camo on my lr4 to make it look like this new DEFENDER.. Why it took land rover few years to do it?

Im at least hopeful that Land Rover will change course away from the overly aerodynamic, similar looking, body styles. A little variety and old school Rover style would be refreshing. The new models do look good, no doubt, but Land Rover is a more rugged looking vehicle in my mind and the styling is iconically bold, boxy, and upright. Call me old fashioned if you like.
