Hi all,

Just signed the papers to buy a 2011 LR4. My first project will be setting it up to tow. It doesn't have the receiver adapter gizmo and, I suspect, doesn't have the wiring for the trailer plug (didn't pull the cover off). Any advice on that or sources for the bits would be much appreciated. I'll be towing up to about 5k lbs and will also use a hitch mount dirt bike carrier (300lbs all in but can stress a hitch more than a trailer with similar weight). Biggest priority is strength and reliability.

The LR4 is super clean and just under 100k miles. Hopefully will take delivery Monday (waiting on banks to open so seller can pay off lien).

Thought I'd add a picture. I love this blue paint.

Find a factory trailer hitch attachment, it works great and easy to remove. I bought the wiring kit from Atlantic British and it's easy to install.
