Hello. I paired my iPhone to the car bluetooth easily, but when pressing “my music” on the audio/video tab, the “my music” section won’t expand. Usually when pressing the “my music” a small + appears and allows my to choose between different music sources. Now I can only listen to the radio. What can I do to retrieve my music back?

Try turning the car off then restart. That usually allows my missing SAT button to reappear.

Every time I have something wonky happen with my stereo--it's rare, but it occasionally happens--I disconnect the battery for a few minutes and then reconnect.

It always fixes everything, at the expense of my effort and having to reset all the power windows.

^^^ I wonder if tagging issues/solutions in this way would be a start toward compiling a knowledge base of fixes like this that are found throughout this section... Sure you can do a search but then you have to plow through lots of superfluous chatter. On some of the tech forums I frequent there is a "SOLVED" button or tag that is applied to the most helpful comments. I'm not sure what this forum software supports in that regard.

Just put a sticky at the top of the forum.

If you are experiencing an anomaly that involves current flow of any type, disconnect battery for 10 minutes, re-connect, and then assess if anomaly is still present.

That applies to many so many things on these vehicles, that I don't believe I could catalog them all. Additionally, I would be hard pressed to think of a situation that the above course of action could make worse.
