I am getting the eco mode symbol on warning cluster regularly. ECO in circle with slash. 2014 LR4, 3.0l SCV6. Anyone have any ideas?

If it's never been replaced before, it's past the time that start/stop battery normally goes, unless your 2014 wasn't sold until 2015 or 2016 or something.

I'd be happy that I don't have to push the eco-stop off button every time I start the LR4. Actually, I would have probably disconnected that battery the first week of ownership.

No kidding. I'm in a rental f150 right now and that junk is driving me bonkers. I've found in the ford's case it's tied to some switch that requires you to hold the pedal pressed pretty hard, and you can stop without pressing it quite that hard. I almost have the technique down to keep it from happening.

I hated it at first but almost 3 years later now I don't really pay any attention to it. I think I have just altered my driving to make it less annoying.

Just went thorough that in the fall. Replace the "motorcycle" battery on your own to save yourself time and frustration with the dealer.

start/stop, ECO, that has to be added wear on the engine, as well as the rise in engine temp every time it shuts off. Combined, can't be good for the engine. I'll be disabling the one on my wife lr4.
