Have a creak-squawk in my suspension that is periodic. Only happens at slow speeds going over small bumps. I can also replicate the sound when pumping brakes at a stop light; sound is a bit different.

Pushed on the suspension in my garage and couldn't replicate. Jacked up the car and inspected all bushings I could leverage with a pry bar. Nothing seems to wiggle easily; a bit of play in the front control arm rear bushing (bigger one); seems normal.

Lower bushings on sway bar link look like they have some sag. This is where I'm leaning, bit there is no play in the bushings when I tried to apply force using a pry bar. Couldn't find any movement in the sway bar either.

I'm sure some experienced techs have seen this before. Ideas? How do I diagnose? 2011 LR4.

Thanks.

Whenever my front end has started sounding like an old mattress over sharp speed bumps or under fairly hard braking at a stoplight, both on my old RRS and my LR4, it's always been the front sway bar bushings. That would be my chief suspect. Over time, the creak and squeal should become louder and you'll be able to replicate it in your garage simply by pushing down on the hood, and eventually it'll turn into a clunk as those rubber bushings wear out further.

Ditto, on what he said on mine.

I had a squeak that I could replicate by bouncing the front end in the garage. Swapped the sway bushings for new poly's and no more squeak.

My LR4 just developed this creak and squeal from the rear when going slowly over bump stops. Started reading this thread , went to the garage, opened the tailgate and pushed down on it. It creaks like an old mattress so must be rear sway bar bushings, right?
Anyone knows how much it cost to replace those rear bushings?

OK, got under the car and tried to get a socket or a wrench on all 4 bolts before I attempted this. The upper bracket bolt on the drivers side is too close to the front differential. Can the differential be raised to create space to get to the bolt? Anyone done this on a 2011 LR4 and have a solution?

I think I used a ratcheting box end wrench.

I did not have to remove or relocate any other parts when I did mine.

I have a squeak that sounds like it is coming from my steering wheel, but is actually coming from the front end somehow. Squeaks sometimes, sometimes is fine. Is it possible to buy some time via lubricating the old bushings?

Flush the power steering fluid, and put in an additive. There's a post on this forum somewhere about it.
