I have a 1998 discovery that has a sporadic missfire. some times you can drive a few days with no problems other times just 15 mins. But it only miss fires at running temp and will not go over 1500 rpms. I have replaced all 4 o2 sensors and the crankshaft sensor. It has been to a couple of shops for diagnostics and they can not get their computers to communicate with mine.any assistance would be appreciated.

Without knowing if it has any check engine codes, I would ask, is everything stock, normal dry air filter or do you have a oiled airfilter?

This is normally caused by corrosion at the ECU connections. Not a good sign, but can be fixed.
