Hey everybody! After an absence of 10 years I'm returning to the LR family. Just purchased a 2016 LR4 HSE Lux with 33,000 miles in Watomo grey with Almond/Arabica interior. I looked at about 500 vehicles nationwide until I finally found an acceptable unit at CarMax. Problem was finding one with the HD package (full size alloy wheel/tire, two-speed transfer case and locking rear diff )! Damn, what a tough job that was! But a LR without that "stuff" wasn't an option for me and so I paid a premium price! Also, it had to be in near new condition with relatively low miles. Bingo, finally! Me so happy!
I also spent weeks reading all you guys' posts to familiarize myself with the LR4. My previous LR's were a Discovery, Discovery II, and LR3. Then I went nuts and bought a Mercedes SL in 2009 and traded my LR3. Man, did I miss that vehicle! But all is well now. And, thanks to all of you for your invaluable help!
