The truck drives perfectly all day but around dusk my truck engine will rev up over 30k rpm I have to shift into sports mode to shift manually then shortly after i do that the display says lowering suspension, cruise control has been deactivated 3 warning lights come on the yellow brake light, caution light with the circle around it and the icon that indicates the suspension level. Took to repair shop they find no codes, they even covered the auto light sensor but after 4 days it didn't happen for them. Later the evening that i got the truck back it happened. It does this overtime i drive around dusk. Anybody experienced this?

Have you checked your alternator? When they start to fail, they cause all kinds of crazy electrical gremlins, similar to what you have described. If it is orginal, definately replace it as they seem to consistently fail between 8-12 years depending on the use of the LR3.

looking for help with an alternator problem also. my 2006 RR sport is eating alternators at a rate of 1 per month. the shop decided it was caused by a faulty ECU. ECU replaced and reprogrammed. 2 days and 71 miles, yep dead. so the body count is 5 alternators, two batteries and one ECU. any ideas?

If it only happens around dusk then I’d say it’s temperature related.
I had faulty hood latch that would cause the alarm to off everyday after work which was the hottest time of day.

Had near enough problem when loads of warning lights kept coming on. Took to Land Rover and found problem with battery. Land Rovers need the battery to be in A1 condition all of the time and when battery starts to fail, it can cause the electronics to start playing up. Once my battery was replaced and the fault codes cleared the car drives faultless again.
