These rims must still maintain hub centric alignment with transfered stresses to the hubs vs the studs. These new rims secured by flat and washer vs cone nuts?
If by flat contact mounted lugs, "what if" you had lug nuts with a longer body from the flat of the washer to the end of the lug for a longer threaded lug regaining the safe amount of threaded on turns as factory?
Sounds like the rims at the lug mounting location is thicker than the factory rims correct?
