Hi Folks,
I have s 2010 LR4 recently purchased used. Getting a "Normal height only" message on the dash. I reviewed some old service records I found and it was recently I selected at the dealer for the issue. The record states: "customer states suspension fault light coming on, diagnosed found codes for right rear corner valve electrical system fault most likely electrical did no further dio."

Wondering if anyone has an idea of what it could be? The compressor is working as I watched the front come up and put my hands on the compressor case when first starting and can hear it running.

Has anyone had this code come up?

Thanks

Get a scanner and read the actual fault code. Then post the actual code here and search for it, too.

A lot of auto parts stores have scanners you can use for free.

I've had my suspension go out of wack before. The suspension or 4x4 screen shows a red blinking bar on the rear right wheel. I had the dealership recalibrate it for a whopping $350 and the issue came back a month later. Save some money and get an IIDTool BT. It's more than a code reader. It can recalibrate your suspension. It also does a whole lot more.

Thanks dj. Here are the codes the mechanic gave me today:

C1A30 PRESSURE TOO SLOW,
C112F AIRSPRING VALVE,
C1130 AIRSPRING AIR SUPPLY,
C1A34 RIGHT REAR CORNER VALVE, AND
C1A27 COMPRESSOR CIRCUIT.

I know the compressor is working, as I crawled under the vehicle and felt it running, also noted that the suspension raised after started up, but the "normal height only" message is up on the screen and it won't go into the offroad height.

any help is appreciated.

I have an IID tool on order, so wondering if I should clear the code when it arrives and see what codes then will come up, as I'm assuming, some of the codes above are old and were never cleared...

The compressor can run and still be bad. But I like your idea about clearing codes and see what comes back.

I’ve had this issue before with an ‘05. I basically had a leak in my air bag thingie. So I felt her raise up after starting but she would work extra hard at staying at normal height. Like, I’d hear my compressor working while at a stop light to get back up again and she wouldn’t let me go to off road height at all.

I had all those errors and by replacing the compressor it fixed the problem.

The compressor was pumping to slow and it gave me these errors. If you have the Mitsubishi compressor, you can rebuild the compressor for less than half of a new one..

Note: My LR4 has about 110k miles on the clock. I think that is the life span of the compressor. Is my opinion.
