Hey I'm headed down to Oceano Dunes, CA to take my recently acquired 2011 onto the beach/dunes.

Never been there. Any advice on what to expect to anyone who has?

Or any advice on taking the Rover onto sand? I haven't used the TRS yet, let alone the sand. Does it really work? Am I impervious to getting stuck (ha!). Mistakes I can avoid?

Should I stay away from the salt water/driving into the surf? Sounds fun!

Thanks.

Air down. Mine did great on the sand. Have a blast

Yes, stay out of surf and clean undercarriage well following your trip.

I had a blast there a few years ago. Warning: don’t leave your roof window open, sand will come in and it will jam. Also, beware of sucking sand into your L/R air intakes- very costly engine repair
