I was able to find out some more info!

The part # for the 17" wheels is RRC002851MNH, which was superceded by RRC002852MNH.

Here are a couple part links:

Here's a link to more information about wheels on disco3.co.uk:

Yeah, it's simple really, just get that factory wheel, change the brakes to the smaller rotors and carrier, done. The brakes parts will be found in the "v6 usa" section of a parts diagram as should the wheels. Rovers North can also help with this project.

Thanks for the tip about Rovers North! I haven't had a chance to start this project yet, but I'll update this thread once I've made some progress.

Why not just run 18” MT’s? Smaller brakes on a LR3 is never something I have found myself wanting.

Bumping this up as I decided to upgrade to an LR4. Got the 17's mounted this weekend. Mine is a '16 SDv6 (not sure if everything is 100% across all LR4 years) but this is what it took for mine:

Process is basically the same as before - the goal is to get the LR3 v6 brakes on the LR4. The LR3 has the same calipers between the v6 and v8 (only change is rotor diameter). But this is not the same with the LR4. You need to replace the front calipers with the LR3 version. Also the front brake dust shields are too big and contact the wheels - I chose to simply trim about an inch off the outside so they clear vs buying the LR3 version for ~$80 each side.

LR4 swap parts:
1. Front calipers (and pads) from LR3 v8
2. Front caliper carriers from LR3 v6
3. Front rotors from LR3 v6
4. Rear caliper carriers from LR3 v6
5. Rear rotors from LR3 v6
6. Either trim or replace front brake shields with LR3 version (v8 and v6 clear just fine)
