Welcome to the forum! Oil change doesn’t require a $100 pump if you can work a wrench.

You have to love working a wrench if you prefer taking off the skid plate instead of connecting a Mityvac tube. Then again, getting under these does give you the opportunity to check for any leaks or problems.

The running board/rock slider job is simple, there are preinstalled nuts covered with thick paper dots that you pull off and bolt right into. I would have gone with rock sliders instead of running boards. I buy all my parts from Landrover Merriam, I only use factory parts and have had good luck with them. Hope you enjoy the rover as much as we all enjoy ours.

My 2013 warranties are expired. I'm confident that changing the oil myself every 7500 miles using Mobil 1 EP is fine, especially compared to dealer oil changes every 15,000 miles.
Oh yeah - change the oil by 7500 miles max with normal service. There's discussion in other forum threads on this topic, but don't change at 15kmi.

Their warranty is great. I had failure of my truck in the middle of Eastern Oregon. I got a tow and lodging, meals and repair with a loaner from LR Portland. The hardest part was making conversation with the tow driver for 6 hours.

Couple more questions:

Any recommendations on aftermarket silver roof rails ? The car included oem silver cross bars and black rails, but I think silver rails might look better.

Can the second row headrests be removed ? I can raise and lower them but they dont seem like the can be fully removed.

Are the rear view mirrors supposed to auto tilt down when reversing ?

Most people say the OEM roof rails are the best. Some have said there is no real difference with the aftermarket ones.

If you look at the base of the headrest post opposite the one with the raise/lower button, there is a "hidden" button you can press to pull the headrest out all the way.

No.
