I suppose when you consider the Land Cruiser is around $85k, it's a little more palatable.
That said, even when I do my most miserly "build" with what I would want at a minimum, with the 4 cyl engine and everything, I get around $70k.
I'm curious after the hysteria dies down what these will be actually selling for off dealer lots. And then I'm curious what the depreciation curve will be like. It seems like "off road" focused models have a shallow depreciation across brands (Jeep, Benz, and Toyota, at least), so I wonder if the Defender will do the same, or take the characteristic Land Rover dive.
